Hall Farm House, Litton, offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation near to Tideswell and Buxton and well placed for all the main attractions of the Derbyshire Peak District.   Hall Farm House has been awarded a Four Stars certificate with Silver Award by the English Tourism Council.   We are open all year except for a short period over Christmas and New Year.   Our accommodation consists of two double en suite rooms and a twin room with access to a large private bathroom and adjoining shower room.   All rooms are tastefully furnished and have central heating, well stocked drinks-making facilities, hairdryers, televisions, clock radios, and more little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible.   We offer tasty breakfasts made largely with local produce.   We can provide long or short breaks to suit your requirements and aim to make sure you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. Riding House Farm is a traditional Derbyshire hill farm rearing beef and sheep. It nestles under the Losehill Ridge with wonderful south facing views across the Hope Valley. It is a walkers' paradise with direct access to the footpath network. Riding House Farm is a working farm of 140 acres. If you bring your wellies you will be able to see the newborn lambs in Spring, visit the calf house and even feed the hens! There is an abundance of wildlife around especially in our own secluded bluebell wood. Milkmaid's Cottage is a lovely spacious one-bedroom cottage with a 6' bed. It has two bathrooms and an optional double sofa bed in the sitting room for occasional use. Shepherd's Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage, one double and one twin, with two bathrooms. It is ideal for four people. Many of the original old beams still feature in this cottage. Both cottages are furnished and equipped to the same high standard with careful attention to detail to make your stay memorable. Each cottage has full central heating and double glazing, two bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath, basin and WC, and a downstairs shower room with basin and WC. With TV, CD, DVD in the cosy sitting rooms and oven hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the kitchen areas everything is provided for you. There is also an adjacent laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your free use. Wifi also available Outside is your private parking area with seating to enjoy a barbecue and drink, enjoying the view across the valley. From your doorstep you can take the footpath directly to Lose Hill Ridge and enjoy another spectacular view over the Edale Valley to the famous Kinder Scout. David and Denise Matthews have farmed at Riding House for over 20 years. They are the modern day Shepherd and Milkmaid! If needed, they will be on hand to help you make the most of your stay in the Peak District National Park. Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement The Hope Valley is an ideal base for exploring the treasures of the Peak District. In addition to the wonderful scenery, there are numerous attractions including nearby Castleton caves and castle, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the plague village of Eyam. If you have any energy left after walking the hills, the Hope Valley offers climbing, cycling, pony trekking, swimming, angling, gliding and parascending. Or why not just relax!

Bank Top Cottage is a comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage n the very heart of the Peak District National Park sleeping up to 4 people (two en-suite bedrooms) The front door opens into the cosy lounge with comfortable settees, dining area, TV, DVD and games and wi-fi. Through the arched door way is the kitchen, well equipped with ceramic hob and cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. There are two bedrooms: a double and a twin both with their own en-suite shower rooms, each with WC and wash basin. There is an attractive south facing garden area with views over Millers Dale to the Monsal Trail. Garden furniture and barbecue provided. Bikes can be stored (please ask). Linen and towels central heating, fuel, power and wi-fi are included. A cot, high chair and stair gate can be requested. Ample parking is available at the cottage. Smoking is not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult (please call if you wish to discuss). Well behaved pets and children are welcome. Millers Dale itself is a small tranquil village, surrounded by tree-clad hills, in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. There is a local village pub, the small church and close access to the Monsal Trail and LImestone Way.  Sit and picnic by the River Wye in Cheedale, cycle to Bakewell or Buxton on the Monsal Trail and enjoy many fabulous walks in the area.

Set in the former grounds of Sandybrook Hall, an elegant early 19th century manor house, Sandybrook Country Park provides delightful views across the surrounding countryside. The luxury Pinelodges provide attractive and very comfortable self-catering accommodation. Fully insulated, they are cosy in winter yet cool and airy in summer. The lodges are furnished to the highest standard with one, two, three or four bedroom options, sleeping up to eight people. Luxurious Elvaston lodges sleeping 2, are perfect for a romantic weekend, with sauna and whirlpool jet bath.  Outdoor hot tubs are available on the verandah of some lodges. Enjoying wonderful countryside views Rokeby cottage occupies a lovely position on Jaggers Lane in the beautiful Peak District National Park village of Hathersage. Originally traditional accommodation for a farm worker's family; the cottage has been completely modernised to offer cosy, high quality, very well-equipped accommodation with delightful views and the amenities of the village on the doorstep. The cottage sleeps 2-3 people. The living room has two sofas and an electric wooder-burner effect stove. The TV/DVD player together with some holiday DVDs are discretely positioned within a cupboard so that they can be kept out of the way if not required. Pass though a low doorway to the well fitted kitchen with dining area. The kitchen includes all you would need for a self-catering break. Through french windows to South-West facing patio with outside dining area and small utility room which houses washer and dryer. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double 'four poster' bed. There is also a single bedroom with south-westerly views. Each bedroom has a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and adequate space for bags to be stored. Amenities Full gas central heating, additional heating from electric woodburner-effect stove in sitting room. Water is heated as it is used from a gas powered combi boiler. Electric cooker, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer in outside utility room (converted from outside toilet). Colour TV (including Freeview) with DVD and stereo CD player. Wireless internet access, fuel and power included with rental. Bed linen and towels included in rental. Off road parking for 1 small car, additional roadside parking available. Enclosed patio with furniture and fantastic countryside views. We welcome up to two dogs provided they say downstairs and are well behaved. The charge is £15 per dog.
